Diary Entry – 29th April 2024

Did you know you can follow us on our journey on YouTube!!

Welcome to todays diary entry! Today was a super super exciting day. It is big delivery day and we had about 3 or 4 stops from various courier companies. I think we had 3 or 4 from DPD (other couriers are available). So to day we had delivered 4 x 100w solar panels, 2 x 100ah lithium batteries, loads of other bit for our solar set up and most excitingly my new mobile phone. I have spent so much time over the last 6 months having to delete stuff from my phone because it has run out of battery so hopefully now that i have a 1tb memory phone that will be a thing of the past.

Hyatt Regency Vibes – 12 months ago to day!

As you can probably imagine we take a lot of videos and a lot of pictures. Mum cannot simply just take one picture it has to be 30 in both landscape and portrait and from several different angles. Whereas i am a snap and take 2 and then you pick the best one of the 2. We have a super busy May coming with 2 shows and 1 festival but at least the festival will be technically 4 days off, minus the 2 days volunteering. We have not moved the Moho for almost a week now as dont want to risk moving it with it needing a new radiator but i have called the garage and explained that i need to possibly drive it to Nottingham on Thursday (the day after) for our late Spring Outdoor Revolution show.

It should be a day only job but he has said that sometimes the bolts rust and they can be a pain to get out of the socket. I am just hoping for a bit of luck and then it should be a qick in and out job. We are coming up to the date of its first MOT now as well and that is also going to be a nervous time for me. I dont think it has any problems but a lot of the time you never know you have problems until it is too late and you are on the side of the road with the blinkers on. Hopefully that wont be the case. The Moho has always been mechanically sound and i have never had any problems with it that have not been the operators fault.

The big one though is Wednesday and that is the radiator and hopefully be an easy job to keep the labour costs down and keep it nice and economical. TO be fair i am going to be the ternal optimist and not worry about it and assume it will be fine and that good things will come. An nice easy radiator change and flies through its MOT ready for another 6 or 7000 miles post June. Even with 6k miles in it it will only be 75000 which for a moorhome sounds like a lot but not for a Fiat Ducato engine.
