Diary Entry – 01st May 2024

Did you know you can follow us on our journey on YouTube!!

Welcome to todays diary entry! You wouldn’t believe how long ago it feels since we were in Morocco and let me tell you something i have not seen anything that would make me not want to go back. In case I have not mentioned before I absolutely love it, and although it seems like it is a million miles away I know that it wont be long until we get there! Just the small matter of about 8 awning shows, 2 holidays and working. What i do no is though is that time does go very quickly.

1 Year Ago Today!

We were lying in bed the other day and just looking through the pictures of when we were away and it does seem like a lifetime ago. This will be our 3rd time there now in a campervan/ motorhome and it will be interesting again this year to see if it is more popular. It was certainly more popular than the 1st and i do feel that it is losing its taboo and when it was once a place that shocked people when you told them that is where you go for the winter. Although it has lost its shock factor top many.

I still cannot seem to shake this cold and the feeling of been worn down. It is not as bad as some of the cold/ flus i have had in the past but it is just a linger on’er and i cannot seem to shake it off. It is worst at night as it is really dry and tickly then and the last thing i want to be doing is to wake up a baby who isn’t sleeping brilliantly at the moment so i have to literally bury my head into the duvet of the pillow to try and take the sound away. My main worry is that is has not gone for next weekend and the first show of the year. It is high octane high pressure environment and you need to be 100% but i have over a week to shift so hopefully i will be back to 100% again.

I feel properly like an old man as well with my bad chest/ cold/ flu and then i still having problems with my back so trying to work and mend is sometimes a bit of a challenge. Especially when the dodge asked me if i had another on of those “10 minutes again” which basically involves lifting stuff and mauling stuff around, and definitely not 10 minutes always ends up being about 90 minutes but a s i have said before i do no what i am getting myself in for.
