Welcome to todays diary entry! Day 2 of a poorly Beef and we got him down to the Drs today as he has a bit of a fever so they have given him some cream for a bit of a viral rash he has and some eye drops for his eye infection. We are then alternating Calpol and ibuprofen to keep him feeling better. STOP THE PRESS!! Guess what? For the first time in about forever it has not rained which was a welcome surprise and a welcome treat. If I hear anyone mention draughts or hose pipe bans i will be kicking off.
Got my motorhome looked at by a motorhome garage and the news isn’t the best news in the world but it is certainly not the worst news in the world the guy thinks it needs a service and a new radiator. So he is off to get me some prices to get it sorted dependant on when he can get me in i may get get a service, MOT and the radiator fixed. Try and get all 3 done at the same time so i am good for another year. To be fair we have probably done 7 or 8 thousand miles in it this year and mechanically it has been sound just a few hiccups here and there. This will we will certainly do less miles because we wont be going to south of rance and back and Belgium etc like we did this summer.

Think we would just have a potter down through Spain and then get to Morocco and then once we have done our 6 months in Morocco make our way back up and have a potter through Spain on the way back. The big question will be as we get closer to the the time when we are planning on booking a ferry will be how we choose to get back into Spain and whether we decide again to try and get the boat to Spain or whether we get the St Malo boat after all and then have a few days up through France.
People do keep saying we should give France a chance but based on my experience in Bisacarosse im just not sure if i can stomach paying that much for everything when i could just get into Spain as quickly as possible. We will have to see closer to the time the other option is do we get the ferry from Italy to Tangier Med, but that takes 4 days and i cannot cope with 21 hours on a boat let alone 91. For now i am just not thinking about it and enjoying being near family and friends in the UK. In my mind if i just keep thinking 6 months until i get to Morocco the i will be ok. You just watch as well, this time in 5 and a hlaf months i will saying “how quick has this last 6 months gone”.
