Welcome to todays diary entry! We have a poorly Beef. I would go as far as to say probably only the second time he has ever been ill. This is despite being Morocco which some people may say is a less hygienic country than the UK. Although to be fair to the UK the weather has been nothing short of awful since we got back. We had 2.5 semi nice days but since then it has been an absolute disgrace! I have never known it to rain so much. You guys much be sick of hearing me talk about how bad the weather is.
I suppose the people in the UK for the winter are institutionalised by the rain and the dreariness of the weather. Being back when we did has certainly made us revisit our plans for next spring/ summer. I think i would get into Morocco later on and leave later on so for example middle of November and then leave Morocco in the middle of May. I just don’t think i could cope with this rain again at this time of year. Normally April can be really good and May tends to let us down a little bit but it has pretty much rained everyday.

So I believe that is what has done for the Beef. He has a cold and a sore throat (I believe) but he has definitely got a cold. With sneezes and a cough. It is so difficult as a parent when your child is ill because you are just helpless. He actually looks ill to us and he has a bit of an eye infection. To be fair I don’t feel very good either. I just feel a bit run down with a bit of a sore throat. I have given my notice in for my remote job this week so I will be spending some time at A and E Leisure and trying to spend sometime getting up to speed with anything that is new in the industry.
I do absolutely love it here and although it can be a little bit stressful it is a different kind of stress to what i am used to. It wont be long until the summer shows start as long as the weather sorts itself out. Although after today it says we are not due any rain until Saturday after today. Another is i am lucky that i got the leak in my roof sorted now otherwise it would have been like Niagara Falls in here but since we got it fixed there doesn’t seem to have been a single drop of water coming in which is great news. And my god has it been put to the test.
