Welcome to todays diary entry! This is to be a weekend of festivities as we are heading to Stoke for the Weekend to see some more of my family that i have not seen since before we left. So today as all about getting through the day and to get to my sisters drive way and get parked up there. We arrived at about 6pm so we parked up, plugged in, then carried a lot of stuff into the house as we had presents for my nephews. We had pretty a carrier back full of fossils which we picked up from Merzouga and one we picked up from the Oasis near Taroudant.
We also had some clothes that we had picked up from Souk El Had as well. Some real life genuine fakes from Morocco. It always makes me laugh when i look at one of the things we bought for the Beef it was a Tommy Hilfiger t-shirt but on the label it actually says Tommy Hifiger when we first seen that we were in stitches of laughter. One of the things i was most looking forward to obviously apart from seeing my family was going to a little pub a couple of minutes walk from my sisters called The Whippet.

It is a bit of an old man pub but there is something about it that we really like. Also it has Staropramen on draft and that is a particular favourite of mine. Accidentally bumped into my Uncle as well in there which was also another nice surprise. A wonderful evening was had by all and in typical UK fashion the night was finished with a kebab. I do love a kebab a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine to be fair. The main reason we are here this weekend is because tomorrow Stoke are playing Plymouth at home and it is one of those absolute 6 pointers that we seem to be having every week now.
It will be our first game of the season and the Beefs first game at all and even better than that my Mum is going to come along as well. It will be the first game she has been to for years and years so will be nice for us all to go together. To be fair there is going to be about 12 of us in the end by the time you take in to account the kids and that. My wonderful wife has also arranged for us to get some photos taken pitch side as well. So that will be one of my favourite pictures of all time. Just hoping we get a good result.
