Welcome to todays diary entry! Someone is feeling under the weather again but to be fair every one seems to be ill at the moment, i think almost every person in the shop has had at least one day off with it, well everyone apart from me. Also to be fair the Dodge also hasn’t had a day off with it yet although he did let the veil slip the other day when he said that he was not feeling very well. We normally boast about how we are super human for never being ill or talking about being ill.
He was telling me a funny story about how he knew he wasn’t very well because his default setting when he isn’t very well is to get in bed with his dressing gown and he did this exact thing on Friday night. It always makes you wonder doesn’t it, especially when the children are small just challenging it must be for them to be ill and then not be able to communicate with anyone and tell them initially that you are unwell, secondly what is wrong with you and ask for some sort of medicine. The only communication technique you have is to cry.

I had ideas of grandeur today about things that i wanted to get done this weekend and i even ran the riot act to Lisa last night saying “we only have xx amounts of Sundays so we need to treat them like working days”. Then once i had woken this morning and had a sausage sandwich and a little lie on the bed i was nodding off and ended up having a sanctioned sleep by the wife which was nice. That new bed is an absolute curse. It is one of the best things i have ever bought but now it has reduced overall productivity in the motorhome itself and i find myself instead of sitting at the front of the Moho that i now spend my time having a little lie down on the back bed.
We have also changed our plans as well for ferries due to a change of plan from my sister. Initially we had spoken about going to Devon for a week before we were due to get the last ferry on the 3rd November but my sister has decided now to not go to Cofton so instead we are just going to get on the ferry a week early. SO we bought the ferry forward and it somehow worked out about £100 cheaper than the week we had booked. But we were looking at it and we didn’t realise we could get a refund so instead of getting £100 back we have instead upgraded our room and have got a £50 food voucher. Which i think is optimistic because if i can eat on that boat then i will eat my hat!
