Diary Entry – 23rd September 2024

Did you know you can follow us on our journey on YouTube!!

Welcome to todays diary entry! Wow my boy isn’t doing very good at all. This evening has been very very tough. He seemed alright throughout the day and then come about 19:30pm he just started crying and then every time he would settle down and nearly fall asleep he would then cough and wake himself back up again and the cycle repeated itself into the night almost hourly so it was a rough end to a Monday. The day though, started off ok he spent the night in his new bed and being honest i didn’t sleep that great as i was worried about him falling out of his bed.

No doubt it is something that will get easier in time and he will learn how to do it and i will learn how to cope with it and trust him to do it. I suppose that isn’t just this it is watching him grow up at all. I have been thinking a lot about him growing up and how at this age it is just such a lovely age and everything about them is so kind and i just don’t want him to grow old. It sometimes makes me a little bit upset to think of him growing up. I am just quite content sitting in our little bubble pottering around and having each other for company.

But once again that is one of those things that i need to come to terms with and learn to live with. I am really really starting to look forward to getting away on our travels again and just to have some proper time. Like i say though i am a little worried about money and hoping that during the quieter months i can earn enough to keep topping up the pot of money to see us through until February time when the awning should be kicking in to full swing. SO really it is just these first 2 or 3 months but we have a budget and we have a plan so i am sure we will be fine.

And i suppose there could be worse places to have to live within your means than on the Atlantic coast 2/3s the way down Morocco where the sun is almost always shining. It will be a little different this time as i wont have the guaranteed income coming in that i had last but once again i am just concentrating on making sure we know where we are and keeping busy and just relaxing whilst having some nice family time doing blogs and vlogs and ultimately working hard to try and get us to the position where we can almost support ourselves through doing bits and pieces one day and travel.
