Welcome to todays diary entry! What a difference a day makes. There was not much bounce in my step this morning as i was feeling and reeling from a long wonderful day. There certainly wasn’t a 7am walk of the dog down to my Mums. I don’t think we were up until 9am and went into my Sisters house and seen what was going on in there. I was asked if i wanted to go and watch my youngest nephew play football but to be honest i was tired, a bit poorly and was cold so it wasn’t my cup of tea whereas normally i would chomp at the bit.
That would be the only nephew who i have not seen play football yet but i assured him in the next couple of weeks i would watch him play. In hindsight i probably should have gone but in my mind at the time all i could think about was getting a blanket and having a little snooze on the sofa watching children’s TV with the Beef. Lisa ordered a Maccies Breakfast for me, her and my other nephew who was still asleep. We said to my sister we would look after him so she could go and watch Football.

We were supposed to be having a Curry last night from this amazing place in Stoke but never got round to it. So i was hungry but i was in that state where you think you are hungry but the smell of food is enough to not make you feel hungry so i didn’t eat mine straight. I left it for a couple of hours while i closed my eyes on the sofa. My sister and co arrived back at the house for about 12:30 and my nephew won 10 – 2 so i should have definitely gone to the match. When she arrived i then ate my breakfast.
Shortly after food we packed up the motorhome and set off on our merry way. We had been very lucky this weekend with the weather and even at Stoke it was quite warm. I was still boycotting jeans and wore my denim shorts. I don’t think the Beef is on top form as he seems to have a bit of a gunky eye. It always makes me wonder about that as he is never ill in the winter in Morocco he has only ever been really under the weather a couple of times and that has both been in UK. I think it is the cold and damp that does. It just always seems to knock him for six when we get back. I don’t blame him mind because it is bloody so wet and so cold.
