Welcome to todays diary entry! Took me a little bit of time today to get back into the swing of things whilst i readjusted to actually being back in work and getting stuff done in here. I have had such an amazing few days and if i wasn’t sure whether i could class myself as an awning geek the last few days have absolutely nailed it home that i am a full on geek. I say it a bit but it is even more apparent if i think back to being 21 and if 21 year old me could see 36 year old me now he would embarrassed.
To be fair i was probably a bit of a knob at 21 anyway so maybe is not a particularly great assessment. As we are now entering our final stages of our planning ready to leave for the winter. We have 4 weeks on Friday now and we are into the 4s. We have so much to do at the moment and not quite sure where i am going to fit it all in especially when the NEC week will be hectic as always but should be good. Think we are going to plan on heading down on the Sunday and staying over on the Saturday night and then getting an exhibitor pass and getting in there early doors on the Sunday morning to look around.

Well, that is at least my plan to do that but whether i will be too busy selling stuff on th Sunday with it being the last day. I will probably make the call on whether i get the chance to go down on how busy the other days are. I could always drive down on the Sunday morning in the motorhome but i always worry about something happening to it and for something to happen to it at that stage would be very very bad. SO i am almost in the state of mind now which is just don’t move it don’t touch it.
There is still some jobs i want the lads at A and E Leisure to do for us before we go and i also have it in to get serviced on the 1st October for a big big service to just check it over and get it on its way. It is quite dusty out there so always want to try and keep on top of it. But when i think that in nearly 7 weeks we will in Spain in 9 weeks we will be actually in Morocco and hopefully having a great time with the “Free to join, free to leave convoy” we have organised. I think the latest count is something like 10 vehicles that are on the list so far so who knows how many it could be by the time it gets closer.
