Welcome to todays diary entry! The weather in this country is absolutely wild and being at Melvern makes it feel even more peculiar as where we were on our right hand side in the distance you can make out the hills but any cloud what so ever and they vanish. So when we first woke up we couldn’t see them at all but by around 10am the sky cleared and you could see all of the mountains and even the tops. There were times yesterday in the fog and the mist when you couldn’t even see the bottom of the hills let alone the top of the hills.
We today like pretty much all ‘summer’ have experienced all 4 seasons in one and at one point it was absolutely glorious but the guy on the speaker kept going on about rain coming and when it is like this you do sometimes struggle to believe but it wasn’t coming until late into the night so in the mean time i was going to enjoy the 1 day of summer. That was something else i have enjoyed about this show from a traders perspective the guy on the loud speaker every couple of hours telling people to come and see the traders and how important cash is and to get yourself a deal etc. It has been very very nice to feel wanted and appreciated as a trader.

Today started off slow normally at our other big shows we are pretty busy almost form first thing because people have to go through us to get to the main stage and the arena where as this at Malvern has a trader village so people have to make a conscious effort to come and see the traders but by 11am ish 12 pm ish we were busy and after that it was pretty much non stop all day until around 8pm because then people have migrated onto the nighttime entertainment but once again i don’t think there is any harm in that either as it gives you a clear cut trading time where as i have sat out till 11pm on stands before with people have a drink and banter with folks.
I think it is safe to safe that this is one of my favorite shows that we have done and i would 1 million % add it onto our show calendar and it is good as it is a bit closer to winter so the extra revenue helps to carry you through. Honestly it just feels really well ran, everyone has been so friendly. I think we had staff 2 or 3 times today coming over and checking we are ok and asking if we needed anything and if we were on the wifi. That in itself is a really nice touch that we dont normally get.
