Welcome to todays diary entry! A hugely hugely hugely successful show! I have thoroughly enjoyed and definitely one i will be suggesting that we do again. From a shop perspective it has been a really good one because we were light on staff as we didn’t have any manufacturer support so there was only me, the Dodge, Jen, Mum and a lad from the shop called Kian. The overwhelming consensus was that this was actually one of our favorite shows of the year. The over impact on the shop operation normally takes a hammering at these shows because it is such a big big job to arrange, pack and man them.
I think part of that is down to the time of year and with this technically being out of season then you don’t feel the impact as much on a Saturday in store compared to something like Camper Jam or Dubbed Out which are mid season when it is manic in store. Another reason why this was a great show for us as a shop was that 98% of what we sold was stock that we already had on the shelves so didn’t involve getting 10+ pallets from Outdoor Revolution and 18+ pallets from Dometic or Vango. SO it was a great chance to clear through the stock we already have.

And when we took almost 1000 tub chairs from Dometic and a load of awnings we needed to make space on the shelves because we have a container arriving on Tuesday morning for over 550 caravan, motorhome and campervan covers which need to be palletized and put on the shelves. That has been making its way to us from China over the last few months so that is due to land again. So if you are interested in buying a caravan, motorhome or campervan cover feel free to DM us and get a little treat from us.
As the show had been so succesful most of the Demos had been sold and we didnt have a load of stuff to pack down as we had pretty much sold out so we were away and on the road from Melvern for about 17:30 and with a 2 hour drive home looking good to be tucked up in bed for about 9pm. That was until we got a summons from the Dodge and wanted to know if he could gate crash our usual post show pizza in the motorhome and if we fancied having a service station burger king. He sounded like the he really wanted a BK so we obliged and pulled off at a service station just on the M6.
I do hate going to service stations as it always feels like you are being burgled the robbing gits. BK came to about £50. That was for 3 adults and 1 child. Scandalous.
