Diary Entry – 05th April 2024

Did you know you can follow us on our journey on YouTube!!

Welcome to todays diary entry! We have had a really busy few days last couple of days with planning our summer and pretty much rammed until middle of August. I will put down where you will be able to find us this summer a little bit further down the diary entry. Not only that but i have been trying to get up an hour early and get back into the habit of doing a diary entry every day again. Although it is not a definite art yet i have certainly done more blogs this week than i have in the previous 6 or 7 week where my blog count has been the best of zero if not zero. Lisa has also completed a really popular blog this week as well which is proving to be extremely useful, especially for people that are new to motorhoming. So this week we have published 3 new blogs! Go Us!

The 2 blogs that i have written this week are:
37 Incredible Tips For Wild Camping In Scotland With Your Motorhome
Can You Park Your Motorhome or Campervan on the Road Indefinitely? The Honest Truth +1 Top Tip!
The extremely popular one that Mum has written:
Essential Motorhome Tips & Tricks for Newbies

We have also managed to film and publish a video on YouTube this week and you can catch that here!

We have stopped using chicken breast an buy these chicken 1/4s instead!

Getting roots down does make it considerably easier to find time to do the social media stuff and the blogs. The blog are probably one of the most important thing for us because we feel that is the best chance we have of being able to work less (conventional work) and do more fun stuff. The more fun stuff the more blogs you write and so on and so forth. I may do a diary entry on how we make little bits of money from the blogs and from YT etc so we can list ways in which people can help and support us as we go on our way. Even little things like buying us a coffee is a great way to keep us going.

We have stopped buying chicken breast now 80% of the time and we have started buying 1/4s of chicken and popping them in the air fryer. I have always preferred chicken thighs and i love chicken wings so meat on the bone is not an issue for although i am aware that some people don’t like it. Where as in Morocco in things like Tagines a lot of the time they just hack up a chicken carcass and just throw that in. I don’t mind mind bit chunks but it is when it is all fidgety and takes and age to try and get the meat. That then becomes a real problem for me. I just want to be able to cut the meat off or pick it up and eat it off the bone.

Here is a list so far of the places you will be ale to catch us at in either a holiday or a working capacity:
Pillaton Hall Farm Campsite, Nottingham (Outdoor Revolution Awning Show) May and July, Vanlife Festival, Tribs on the Hill, Camper Jam, Dubbed Out Festival, Cofton Holidays, Hendra Holidays. All of this is in before the middle of August and we are not due to be back in the Uj until the end of April so we certainly have a lot to do in 3 1/2 months. Although despite most of the above working it never feels like work although it is always extremely tiring work.
