Welcome to todays diary entry! It is quite something to see how the footfall has changed in only a matter of weeks and it is safe to say that winter is coming. Especially with the temperatures over the last few days and as i said in a previous diary entry we have dusted out our electric heater no and we are definitely getting cooler. Although actually today the weathers been really nice and it is again due to be minging tomorrow but next week it is going to be really nice. Probably more sun than we have had all year in one weekend at the end of September.
The shop is going we and there’s not too much to report on that front apart from having some minor internet troubles this week where it was down for most of that. We struggled for days to try and work out why it was and eventually we realized it was because someone had plugged in a signal booster in one of the warehouses because they couldn’t get mobile phone signal round the side of the building. So safe to say when the Dodge found out why he was not best pleased.

After work we drove down to my Mums house to see her. I decided a few weeks ago that i need to get and see her at least once a week as it wont be long before we go and i definitely need to make more of an effort now that the shop is quieter and we are not doing any actual shows, I didn’t go last week because we were not long back from Busfest so we rolled it into today. I also said that i will treat her to a chippy once a week as well when we come down. SO by the time we got to my Mums there was me, Lisa, Rory, my sister, brother in law and 2 nephews along with my Mums dug and my sisters dug so it was a packed house.
It is always nice to see him with my nephews and getting involved in stuff but he also just absolutely loves playing with the dogs and he follows them around with a big cheezer on his face and when they give him kisses or wag their tale and it clips him he just bursts out laughing. He does absolutely love dogs. The chippy was lovely as well i had a battered sausage, chips, curry sauce and a chicken kebab and it was lovely. It is a quality chippy, i always find chippys can be hit and miss. It is either a great chippy or a crap one. Fortunately the last 2 times i have been here it is very good. I am still on my diet although it may not see like it and this week i was lower than i have been before at 16st 11lb 6oz. So not quite at the sub 16st i would like to be but certainly going in the right direction.
