Welcome to todays diary entry! Well and truly now in planning mode for our winter away. Today was a lovely day of waking up when i couldn’t get back to sleep again which is always better than getting waken up by an alarm so i woke around 07:30 and i was the first one awake so my little routine at the moment is to get up and pop the kettle on as i always make the first cup of tea and then straight away pop the diesel heater on as it is quite chilly in the morning. I didn’t putt he electric heater on last night but we have done a few times this week.
The diesel heater now goes on every single day in the morning and goes on a few times throughout the day as well as it has definitely turned. it has pretty much done nothing but rain all day it got to the point where, as i was emptying the garage that i had to get the wind out sun canopy out on the car park so i could get it emptied. The garage has always been a bug bear of mine because the stuff that goes in it tends to be funny shapes so stuff never seems to fit back in once it is out. Things like the old car seat of the push chair but hopefully now with the new additions that we have made it should make it easier to put this stuff away.

I took out all of the stuff out of the garage and then restacked it back in trying to leave as much space as possible. What helps to pack the garage well is packing it from both outside and from inside as well with the bed up. It just makes it so much easier to be able to help stack things and pack them from the inside. The good news is that i have managed to get it all in with a bit of extra space as well. As we start getting closer to leaving your whole mindset changes as well. Like we are planning our gas usage so we have now a full 11kg Flo Gas propane in the garage and we are working our way through another.
What we will do when this current 11kg runs out is to get a replacement and not use it it and just use Calor 6kgsa until we go and then as close to leaving as possible we will change it over and then set off with as close to 22kgs of Propane. On our favorite campsite in Agadir there is a guy who walks around filling propane bottles so i am not too worried about using 22kgs before we get there and get settled but i just like to be as prepared as possible to make sure we have extra gas. With our motorhome being a little bit more senior than others our hot water is gas only so we always need gas.
