A quiet day on camp today, we were woken up several times in the night by the rain and the stuff inside the sun canopy was soaked. It must make a better sun canopy than umbrella. We opted to have a day onsite so we could try and get on top of jobs like washing clothes and dishes etc.
I tried to get some social media scheduling done but I just couldnt get into a rhythm so about 3 o’clock I asked Lisa if she wanted to walk to the camp shop as it has chairs out the front and you buy beer from it and drink it out the front. 3 turned to 4, turned into 5, ton6 to 7 to 8. The supermarket closed at 7 and we sat talking to a lovely couple in from Stoke. That was really nice. To talk Stoke and about the potteries, I loved it. They gave us some Morocco advice and some Morocco money etc. they were lovely.
We left the front of the shop at about 8 and despite me pushing to have chicken noodle soup and bread Lisa persuaded me to have a meal on site. They messed up the starters but we ordered a Tomahawk steak for dinner and it was brilliant. The highlight of the trip so far for me. It was just amazing. Testament to how good it was there are no pictures it just got eaten. And eaten fast!
