Welcome to todays diary entry! Not only do we now have a a rear drivers side wheel that doesn’t make a banshee type squeal when I move even at a slow pace but I now have a fully functioning inverter and a new air fryer to go with it. So i am going to have sausage sandwich’s tomorrow morning cooked in my new air fryer with my new inverter and my new solar panel set up!! So i am pretty satisfied with how it all works now. The only thing that I need to buy now and need to install are the remote switch for the inverter and the LCD screen monitor for the battery level. The app which I have at the moment doesn’t have the ability to tell me how much battery there is left.
But that is not on my mind yet to worry about as for the next few days i am enjoying some proper proper family time in a great environment with great people. We were invited by the FB group Motorhome Happiness to attend and be in there field. Through A and E Leisure awnings we do quite a bit of business through the FB group so you get to know the admins and stuff like that so it is nice to finally put faces to people that you only know online.

There had only been a little bit of rain today in Shrewsbury but in Northwich there was quite a lot so we spent one eye on the VLF FB group to see what the conditions were and we could already see some people that were getting stuck in the mud and stuff like that but i was hoping that as we didn’t plan to be there until about 4pm so hopefully as it was so windy and now starting to brighten up that it should dry and be ok to drive on. It doesn’t officially open until tomorrow so hopefully we can get in and get parked up before thousands of people turn up and churn up all the ground.
But by the time we had got there any initial queues had dropped down and we drove straight in and the ground held up pretty good. We have 2 lads from the shop staying in our awning as they are on the VB Air Suspension so I spent the first hour of my free time putting up an awning with bedrooms etc ready for them to arrive tomorrow. But after an hour or so around 7pm i sat down in my new chair and just relaxed knowing that for the next few days i cannot be disturbed or bothered. The great thing about festivals is that the signal is normally crap, normally i moan about the lack of signal but this time i couldnt wait to be cut off from outside of VLF ’24
