Welcome to todays diary entry! I’ve done a very bad thing! And boy am i paying the price! And boy have i paid the price! BIG TIME! The whole festival atmosphere took me last night and i have probably ended up drinking one too many last night and now i have spent the whole day feeling very very unwell. The problem being at these shows is having a good time can often lead to feeling poorly the next, but there is always eyes on you to make sure you are on time and turning up.
What doesnt go down well is slacking at these things and even more so with there only being 2 of us there is no where to hide so i have had to really try my best to get through it and not moan about it once. I don’t know why of all the nights i have done it on the last night of the show, the night before pack up and packing up when there is only 2 of us. What makes it even more daft is that there is absolutely no rest bite next week for me to recover as i am responsible partly for making sure everything is getting packed on time for Camper Jam.

To be fair i felt pretty rough until about 4 or 5 pm as i didn’t get in until gone 2pm. The main thing is though that me and Mum had a great night. We went and had 5 minutes with the Killers tribute and had a bit of a dance and that which was nice. I had a customer who was coming to take away a demo awning that i had to drop and the whole time that i was doing it i just kept thinking “don’t be poorly, don’t be poorly, don’t be poorly”. But i managed to get through and we got packed up by about 10pm. We have decided to stay here tonight and make our way to work first thing in the morning rather than heading back tonight so late.
The tribute acts have been brilliant this weekend and today we have been listening to Taylor Swift. The Dodges girls are all Swifty’s and to be honest i thing that the Dodge is a closet Swifty but not really in the closet. Taylor Swift was the act that closed off the festival and as we packed away there was hardly anyone there but they must have had a closing down party in the bar as there music and noise until about 3 in the morning. I managed to sleep through most of it but i didnt end up getting off to sleep straight away whilst i waited for them partying likeit was 1999.
