Welcome to todays diary entry! The show has officially opened and this is it now for 4 of the next 5 week we are in show time! TO be fair from what i have seen so far i have really enjoyed and the Tribute Acts have been really good. As you may have guessed but with the name Tribs On The Hill it is all Tribute acts and like i have always said sometimes the tribute act are better than the real thing. The weather has been a bit up and down but mostly not too bad. Is it time for Morocco yet? I tell you what i will never ever take the weather there for granted again!
The most important thing to me was that the wind had died down and as to be fair it isn’t forecast to be anywhere near as bad as it has been but i’ll tell you one thing which is ultra surprising just how bloody cold it is. I have spent a large periods of today with my Dry Robe on and i have still been cold. You would never believe that it was the end of June/ beginning of July. It is absolutely unbelievable. I honestly don’t know a colder year in my life. Or a wetter one for that matter but certainly today we have dodged a bullet with the rain today.

For fear of blowing my own trumpet i should have been in a band and i would have been an incredible front man and although these acts are good i could do just as well. Although my singing is limited to karaoke after a few drinks i am not sure if could do it sober especially in front of a large crowd. Although i don’t think there would be anything wrong with having a little drink before hand as long as you were not the first one on and you were not on in the early morning but none of these start before like 2pm.
I just hope we do get a bit of a winter and not just stuck in this absolute washing machine of misery wetness and cold. I mean, honestly, today, it was genuinely cold. We have been trying to use our Starlink a bit but it is quite power hungry and even with my lithium batteries it does get through them. I think we need a 12v conversion which apparently reduces the power draw by 50% which should hopefully make a huge difference. I suppose it wouldn’t matter really if you were getting loads of solar but at the moment it is pretty much zero
