Welcome to todays diary entry! I was adamant that i was leaving today although Mum said we weren’t and that was it. We were staying. The Motorhome is packed but because we had spent the whole day yesterday packing everything away we (she) wanted a day of rest before we started to travel back. So i wouldn’t begrudge her of that. So the departure day was Wednesday so i went up to the top of the Campsite and paid an extra which annoyed a French person who wanted to go into my spot today but and after the French person insisted i moved i laughed and walked away.

We think there may be a bit of a problem with the air con in the sense that it started to leak through the other day but i believe that is because there wasn’t any run off and it just just flooded itself, It was the first time that it had done that but after the changed the angle of the motorhome and put some air in the semi air suspension at the back it hasn’t happened since. It just joined a long list of other little niggles that hopefully the shop can put right whilst we are at the NEC. We have spent a little bit of time looking at the motorhome and we think that rather than upgrading the motorhome we are just going to upgrade our motorhome and keep the one we have.

So that list now of extras i want to try and get throughout the winter/ spring/ summer and autumn will be (and not exclusively) new combi boiler and hopefully get electric heating, new roof light, new tyres, new 12v TV and soundbar, new Fiamma wind out sun canopy, Remis cab blinds and i also want to remove the continental gas grill i have in my kitchen and take that out and then just have the extra storage. We never use the grill and dont use a microwave so we would just rather have the extra storage up there instead. I would also like to try and add an extra bit of kitchen work top space and put another leaf spring table the other side of the kitchen to the other. We dont have a lot of prep space at all. To help with that i am going to take the glas panel off the hobs and get a wooden one made so when prepping food we can use that rather than not being able ot do anything with it at all.

We said our goodbyes to people and the Fegans wanted to make us a farewell tea so they prepared an amazing chilli for us. Our time together would not have ended correctly if it had not been to sign it off with Profiteroles which have played a large part in our time here and they have been the catalyst for many great times up at the restaurant. It was fitting that was where we would eat our last bit of food together. We walked around the campsite and looked at our pitches for next year then headed back. As we were planning on leaving so early we knew that we wouldn’t see them in the morning, for those guys there is only one 7 o’clock in a day.
