Pack down day today and guess what? When we woke it wasn’t raining! Result! So the slow pack down process started and how it works is basically a slow pack down is double the time of a normal pack down. So a pack down should take 1 hour but a slow one is 2. I went to get a French stick, water and to go and pay for our nights. They didn’t take card, cash only which was a pain as we didn’t have any. That meant me being a culture vulture and going back to the supermarket. I was taking his pram this time. I wasn’t getting stitched up with 24 cans of fizzy juice etc and carrying it back.
I didn’t buy anything from the shop just done chicken. One thing that has amazed me is the amount of stray dogs and litter. It is so unfortunate, it does feel a little that they do not care about there lane which is strange. Although all I hear is it’s better further south and boy were they right! As we survived the roadworks by Mohammedia and we then tackled the 120 miles south east we saw rising in the distance the Atlas Mountains and they were incredible. Literally stunning.
I was supposed how quickly the green pastures started to turning that scorched brown colour. This was more like what I wanted to see!! Natural stuff, old style terracotta house built in cliffs. Brilliant. The road to Marrakesh had been brilliant and I loved it. Then trying to find the site was s nightmare as it wasn’t where the sat nav said. We then had to drive roughly a mile over a dirt track through a bit of a housing estate to get on the site. The site though is very nice. Very nice indeed! It has a swimming pool, not heated obvs, a jacuzzi, not heated obvs. Still a very nice site indeed. All is good in the world!
Sounds great, hopefully some good facilities as well. Xx
Hope you enjoy Marrakesh Rich and Lisa I loved it.
