Welcome to todays diary entry! The main theme of today has been “what day is it?” “what is going on?”. It is that time of year in between Christmas and New Year where no one really knows what is going on and your having Baileys, pringles and Ferrero Roches for breakfast. The time of year where all the good Celebrations, Roses, Quality Street and Miniature Hero’s are gone and you are left with the Bounties and the Toffee coins and the green rectangles ones. We have done pretty well on the chocolate front but i must say i have eaten a hell of a lot of food recently hence why when i donned the scales this morning the number was well over 17st again.

But alongside walking 5k a day and starting to run again and eating healthy i am adamant that i am going to get down to 15 stone before we leave here, when ever that may be. At this time of year though it is just so easy to eat poorly and live a relatively unhealthy lifestyle but i am really looking forward to doing the whole new year new me thing. I am aiming for dry January but whether i can do that or just do a moist/ damp January and just really knuckle down on work. Fortunately because of how Lisa gets paid she almost gets paid a month in arrears so she is still due a wage of sorts at the end of January so with a really good January doing awning sales hopefully we will be fine. I am not worried at all.

So i am going to heavily focus on being healthy, portion control and getting into work and the great thing about January is that even though it is the longest month in the history of months people do start to cast an eye on the new camping season. Easter is a little bit later this year though so maybe may take a little while to get going but i am really excited and looking forward to getting going. Especially with Lisa working alongside me. We have put together a little daily routine so we can still try and keep some structure to the day.
The great thing about it as well is that a lot of our work will be done outside of working hours in the UK so in the evening when it is darker here and a bit cooler we can be inside working and that means that we can spend our time in the day doing stuff together which we never have really had when Lisa worked. I am extremely optimistic about the coming year for us and for A and E Leisure. I am really really looking forward to the New Year!
