Welcome to todays diary entry! It has been such a funny show and probably not what i was expecting or hoping. I thought we had had a much better result today but despite being a better day than yesterday not quite what i was hoping. The atmosphere has been about 1 million times better today and it has certainly been more fun than previous days here. Although probably one of my least favorite days of all shows. It never really feel like it got going. That coupled with the people problems we have had in the store.
It has all taken its toll on us and worst of all tomorrow is pack down day and like i say before it never really felt like it got going. The only good thing really is that we have definitely dodged a bullet with the weather we were due a couple of hours rain today but it never made its way to us and we had a couple of little showers but nothing like the weather forecast said. Which makes it a rare treat as it has 99% of the time been the other way where it says no rain and then it is something like out of monsoon season.

Another day of failing to drink 2 drinks in an evening but once again it was nice to have a bit of a blow with the Dodge, he has looked like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders so as any good wing man should i was there ready to top up his drink. Although on this occasion he didn’t have any whiskey and we were instead drinking tequila and nothing ever good happens after drinking tequila. Benn from Outdoor Revolution left site about 7pm which means that we are even more under staffed tomorrow with pack down so i just hope it is not going to be too long a day.
The weather forecast tomorrow is absolutely scorching. Which is the 2nd worst possible weather forecast for pack down. Normally your rooting for it to not rain but if it is as hot as it looks as though it is going to be then it is going to be a long long long day. I don’t think the pitch layout help we have had a 2nd gazebo up so we could sell come Cadac stuff as well but when we set it up it was blocking the pitch. We also are almost on 2 levels with quite a steep drop to the other section. The grass is also quite long as well and it doesn’t just have the same flow as other shows. I don’t think that has helped but i suppose we cannot have everything our way all of the time.
