Welcome to todays diary entry! We made it to Tribs! So not a normal day that leads to us arriving at a show i always like to try and get there as early as possible but we had to wait for the Dodge to get back from an event with Dometic so we had to work the full day in the shop and then he arrived back about 7pm so we then made the short trip over to the Farm where the festival is being held but let me start right back at the beginning. It was my original masterplan to get packed up as much as i could last night but i needed to get my hair cut so we went for a little walk and i ended up having a couple of pints.
So i ended up packing very very little, basically nothing. So i was on the back foot straight away. As i was in the shop today also i had to try and get as much done as i could in between doing stuff here. This wasn’t going to be a awning show more of an accessory stall with chairs and Cadac stuff so there wasnt going to be Luton van involved this time so it was just to pack the works Van. Gina/ Jen (don’t ask) emailed me the pick list about 10am but the Dodge had made a start and had put the marquees in the back and some tables that we were going ot need.

I was left with the big lifting and just making sure we have everything we needed. It is always quite challenging with these sorts of show especially the ones we have not done before to try and work out exactly how much stock we have to take to make sure you are not doing constant shuttle runs to and from the shop. The good thing about Frodsham the one we are due to attend soon is that it is 15 minute drive away so if we do need more stuff then we can just nip back here.
IN the end i timed it to perfection because just as i closed the doors on the back of the van the Dodge came around the corner and after a brief walk around and locking up we set off. Within about 5 minutes the Dodge had to turn back around firstly because he had taken a wrong turn but he had also forgotten the crad machine. There is not much point in doing these shows if it is cash only. I am just glad that we realised before we had gone to far. I am not quite sure what i was expecting but we were in the main field and just by the camp site entrance on top of a little hill with an incredible view of the main stage. We had somehow acquired the best seats in the house!
