Boy is it good to be back on the road again. Now that we have the Moho insured the world is well and truly our Oyster. Well the world along side current visa rules etc. We waited until we had finished work but once i had i fired up the motorhome and emptied my grey water and away we went. A little more on where we went later on. My complete and official integration into Moroccan society moved one step closer today as i had another Tagine and that is 2 on the bounce now. So I am slowly becoming a tagine connoisseur now, to be fair it is my sort of thing but with me being a fussy eater the challenge i have is that every person and place seems to make them slightly different which makes it a gamble for me.
The one i had today was from the petrol station just at the top of the campsite the rumour on the street has always been that there does the best Tagine. It was nice to be fair. When you order some of the meat Tagines they can have the bones in so if in doubt order the Kefta Tagine which is like minced meat balls. It was quite but to be fair wasn’t as nice as the one from La Plancha at the bottom of the campsite. I like a saucy tagine, the saucier the better. To be fair i was absolutely bricking it about driving the van not for driving but the old girl hadn’t had any blood pumping through her veins for a couple of months or so now so was a bit worried about it. I am a nervous driver.

To be fair the Moho was absolutely spot on, maybe a but juddery when going slow and the steering wheel on full lock but that has always been like that and probably something i will get checked out whilst i am here by someone. We are planning on going Paradise Valley tomorrow with Michelle and Dazzler so i wanted to put the van through its paces and we ended in a little point call La Pinto which is right up in the mountains and with a view over a massive valley. It was stunning and it was a pretty tricky drive on some single track roads with no barriers on the edge of the cliffs
It also had some road works on it and really i should have chosen a bit more of an easy drive for the Moho to break it in but you can never legislate for the roads here and sometimes they look great on maps but in reality are like something off a top gear road trip. The views were absolutely amazing and it some hair pin bends and desert tracks. It was a proper proper Moroccan mountain drive and for the couple that never travel. We were well and truly travelling.
