Woke up this morning feeling a little more upbeat, but a bit tired as Rory was having bonus milk at 2am and then again at 6am. But the weather was warm, it wasn’t raining, it has rained over night as there was a puddle on the carpet but i was hopeful that we were over the worst of the rain. That was not the case as we had several episodes of torrential down pour but the sun canopy was out and the rain was just coming straight down so i still managed to spend the whole day outside of the camper. Just being in fresh air is nice. Some really loud cracks of thunder as well but no storm yet. I would love to see a proper proper storm whilst we are away. I also manged to catch a bolt of lightning on my camera as well which was very cool.
By about 2pm it had picked up weather wise and despite the odd drop of drizzle it was warm and the sun came out intermittently. We had started speaking to a guy that lives in Exmouth but come out here quite a lot and got speaking to him and another guy so next thing you know the Sam Miguels were out and it was just nice to sit out and trade travel stories. Being uncultured id not been able to do that and it was really nice to be able to trade those stories.
The Quita De Padrela red wine came out and we gave away our remaining Isabella glass to a man called Dave who was also from Devon way. That will be one of the things that we will take away from this trip is the amazing people that we have met. Starting all the way back in Albufeira with Dena nd Season during our Supermarket Super Bocks to drinking red wine with 2 people we didnt know 12 hours ago but spent the evening chatting away like we’d known each other for years. A really really nice evening!
