Welcome to todays diary entry! Goodness i am absolutely shattered. Another full day of non stop activities. So he made his way here this morning for about 9am and he was full of beans. I had some errands to run this morning so i dragged him along with me to try and burn off some of his energy so we went and i drew some money out so i could pay some money off my campsite bill and do a little bit of shopping. We were going to cook tea tonight and therefore we had to get the food for it. So up the top we i wanted to show him both sides of Morocco we had seen the nice new bits with the cable car etc.

So thought it was important to take him over the road to more of the natural Morocco and we took him to the chicken shop and the merguez shop and got some veg ready for the Tagine. Once we got down he had decided he wanted to go on quad bikes today and because he had no swimming shorts he wanted to nip back to his hotel so he could then go in the sea after the quad bikes. Do you see what i mean about being non stop? I was absolutely shattered but i quite like a quad bike. For some reason he cannot just do normal things, as an example yesterday on the cable car he was trying to shake it. That’s mostly because he knows i am scared of heights and i don’t like things like that. He was trying to suggesting sharing a quad bike but there was no chance i was doing that. I know what he is like.

The quad bike tour was actually really good and took up 2 hours of our day. We went through the mountains nearby and it was actually really good. I got to see parts of the local area that i didn’t even know existed. SO that was really nice. The thing is with quad bikes and stuff like that once you have been on them for a while you are ready to get off and then settle into the afternoon. By the time we got back and started to peel the veg i was ready for a chill out afternoon. But no, he wasnt and he then dragged me down to the beach because he wanted to jump the waves as the sun went down. All he kept saying was “I’m running out of time, ive got to get it all in”. I will need a little bit of a break when he has gone, I was like “lets do that tomorrow?”. He then replied with “why put off until tomorrow what you can do today”. Which is a little bit of a mantra we have back at the shop.
So that was it i was dragged down the beach and it was one of those things which at the time i couldn’t be bothered with but I so glad we did it. It was brilliant and a right laugh. The waves were wild and it was great to be able to show him the strength of the current here and it sometimes can take you by suprise. I am a little bit more gifted than him with my height so i could touch the bottom more than he could but once again the danger side of things meant that he was swimming under the waves and i was trying my best to just not drown.
