Welcome to todays diary entry! And here we go Dubbed Out bound and hopefully we can continue our little streak or really good shows and decent ish weather. I was very very good today and only had 2 drinks as me and the Dodge are planning on having a quiet drinking show. He also knows exactly how to play me, all he says “i bet you cannot do that”. That has always been a great motivator for me, the moment someone says i cannot do something. Someone who i used to work for described me as always walking backwards towards my target and goal/ target.
He also said he didn’t know how i got done in a working day what i managed to get done so i explained to him about the swan theory and although i often looked calm i was kicking like mad under the water. I used to be able to hide it better when i was younger, now when i am frustrated you can see it all over my face. My poker skills have definitely got worse as time has gone on. We made a good start by leaving for Dubbed Out about 09:00 it is only 15 minute drive from the shop and although we pack exactly the same for both Camper Jam and Dubbed out i always feel a bit better being closer.

To be honest something still didn’t feel quite right and I’m not sure whether there is still a bit of tension from Nottingham but it did still feel a bit odd. When we are on we are on it we are a well oiled show team but the person that normally runs the shop and stuff wasn’t there in his usual full capacity which meant that it just didn’t flow the same. Everything just seemed to take longer and we just were not quite prepared for it and it showed. As we were running behind tempers get frayed and people get stressed easier. You then start to bicker and stuff.
It is definitely the least that i have enjoyed setting up and it didn’t really feel like it normally did and the buzz from the success of Camper Jam was well and truly gone. I think i was in bed for about 9pm and asleep for gone 10. I have always said that these shows are so much fun so it felt weird not feeling as buzzed up as i normally do. There just seems to be a grey cloud hanging over us and hopefully that wont last for the whole time of the show, hopefully with our new roles it should start settling in soon enough.
