Our neighbors from last year are actually opposite us with Bojan and Bojans Dad who were the other side of us last year are also opposite us. I remember the Austrians next door but one but cannot remember where they were but it is certainly a lot of people that were here last time. I like that it builds a sense of community and a sense of continuity as well and you spend a lot of your summer speculating who will be there again. Unless something drastic happens i know that we will be back here again next year. I think as well we would like to add another stop on the way down and i think it would be nice to build a relationship with the guys at the Vineyard and try and do that on the way up and on the way down as well.

They were so accommodating and still to this day one of my absolute favorite experiences was having that tour, with the food and then just sitting in there living room after everyone was back in there motorhomes and sampling some wine. It was just such a great experience. We ventured for a little walk today to try and get a bit of fresh air and break the day up although we didn’t want to be too long because as soon as he was asleep i was on wrapping present duty. The present wrapping is one of those jobs i actually quite like, i find it very therapeutic a bit like doing the hoovering to be fair. Just one of things i enjoy. But no drinking until it is done.
After the wrapping was done it was time to settle down. I tried to explain to Rory about why i had put a can of beer on the side with 2 Biscoff biscuits and a bit of carrot. Just to try and lay the groundworks really for his first big Christmas which will be next year when the magic will be full on i suspect. Although i have the plan fully aligned now in my head, Santa will come down the roof light of the motorhome, through the door into the awning if we have the awning up. Don’t ask me why he just wouldn’t come through the awning door. I will say in case the zips make a noise and wake people up. Or that he lands on the motorhome roof and can only get down if he comes through the roof light.
