Did you know you can follow us on our journey on YouTube!!
And just like that another week and weekend has passed us by but even though we are in Morocco January has dragged or at least feels like it anyway. Monday was a very typical Monday for us and for anyone really we are trying to do a bit of walking everyday and we set off this morning just after it had got fully light at about 08:20am. The sun rises behind us over a bit of a mountain behind us and although it is light you don’t get the benefit of the sun until a bit later on at around 09:20. Which is normally on the sort of way back. We have a certain point that we walk to and walk back.
We promised Dazzler and Michelle that we would not make them drink anymore through the week, that was the terms of the final “one for the road”. After some intense negotiations and a dirty look or or 2 the final one for road was signed off. They said they were going to be good until Wednesday when the next Morocco game is on for AFCON. It was funny because they said that they were going to run today and just as we were on our way back in the distant horizon we could see them running towards us. The good thing being that they then couldn’t use us as an excuse for not going for a run not that they ever would.

I am still waiting for our visa to be done, our first 90 days runs out on the 26th October and we still have not had it yet but to be fair the reception here say that once the it is in the police station then it is as good as done. I am not worried and we have never been stopped by the real police or whatever so i am not concerned. Once we have that the world is our Oyster and as the vehicle is done we can go anywhere we want but still don’t have any plans to leave here before the end of the February. Well for an over night stop any, well i say that but we now get the maximum discounted rate for being here for over 90 days no but it is one of the more expensive places to stay. So we could go to other places and pay less but then it just means that when we come back here we pay the higher rate
The good news is that we can start seeing some of the local sights, there is a place called paradise valley near here and it is supposed to be very nice. To be honest i wouldn’t mind going back to Croco park again before we are due to leave but obviously go in the motorhome this time and be able to have a packed lunch or what ever. Paradise Valley is supposed to be something else. There was a guy on the campsite before called Jeff and he rode his bike there and it is about 40 miles away. I wouldn’t be doing that but i would certainly be driving it.
