Welcome to todays diary entry! T Minus 1 day and this is the last full day here and the penultimate day in work but we are pretty much all packed, all ready to go and with only a tiny few jobs left on the motorhome before we go. The excitement now is so high and i just simply cannot wait. All the stress and build up and anxiety now has simply subsided with pure unadulterated excitement! To be fair i only have one day left with the Dodge being in work. He is off work today doing his final admin stuff from the NEC at home.
But for all intense and purposes we are ready to go! The motorhome is packed the last of the stuff is being delivered and we are literally waiting now for the final gunshot at 5pm tomorrow night then we are off. There is just the small matter of some leaving drinks in the Roman tonight. That is one thing that is a bit of a shame is that the Dodge will not be there but i wouldn’t expect him to travel all the way down from Leyland to come here for that. He hasn’t seen his wife and kids for a few days so there is no way id even mention it.

I actually finished at 4pm because i was in desperate need of a haircut and this was looking like the only time i was going to be able to get it done. I was here to get it cut on Thursday night unfortunately mind the Roman pints over took the demand for a hair cut on Thursday and i never ended leaving the pub i just spent my time in there with Lisa and Joe and chewed the fat from the day at the NEC. Meaning that my original hair cut plan had been postponed by a number of days which isnt always bad because it just means that i am getting my hair cut closer to the leave date.
It was nice to have a few drinks tonight and you do grow close to some of the lads. I have always got on with one of the lads Nath but since Joe the new customer service lad came in i have gotten to know him pretty well as well and he is a top top top lad and the sort of person that I would spend loads of time with outside of work. Both of them are quite similar to me in the respect of being absolutely legends and full of banter and enjoying taking the mick out of each other. Like i say what you would do with your pals in the pub.
