Welcome to todays diary entry! We have been to look at another one of the Chalets on the campsite here and just talking about how that could and would work. I suppose we would have a couple of options about how we would navigate the visa stuff. From my original understanding which i intend to double check later on with some people i know. We would have a couple of options and a lot of that would depend on how much time we were planning on staying here for. But i think if we continued to come back for the late spring/ summer and early autumn and then we could get away with doing what we are doing now which is come here for 3 months and then simply extend our visa.

The other option is to not extend the visa and then fly back out to the UK or Spain or something like that and then come back after a day/ few days or a week or whatever but the passport stamps are important. What then makes it a little bit more complicated is the fact that the motorhome can only do 6 months in a calendar year. But what we could do, and stay with me now. We could fly out at the end of the season (early September) after Bus Fest in Malvern. Then we could fly to the Chalet as flights to Agadir are so cheap like £180 return for the 3 of us, then fly back to the UK to be on a stand at the NEC and then drive the motorhome to the chalet at the end of October.

Then end of March or the beginning of April drive back and do the season then repeat the whole thing again. The brilliant thing about a chalet would be that you would leave clothes here and have everything you needed here meaning you could travel light in your motorhome to get back here. Or travel heaving and bring months worth of supplies like oatcakes, sausages, bacon and beverages. The one we have looked at recently had like a bit of a cellar at the back with a big chest freezer etc so you could definitely bring more supplies with you as you wouldn’t be bringing your BBQ and awnings etc.

Then for the summer whilst you are in the UK you are renting it out to friends and family and friends of friends etc with the view that the rental stuff pays for your pitch fees for the year and always makes sure that it is being used and that. From my understanding that the campsite can also help you with the rental side of things as well and i assume they would take a cut of some sort but if they sorted it all out for you then it is a no brainer and you would just ask one of the cleaning ladies just to go in once a week to tidy it up and keep it clean. The costs are cheaper than in the UK and the location here will only become more and more highly sought after. We did think about an apartment but actually i hindsight a chalet on a place like this would be much better as you could still have that campsite feel and community feel.
