We have a nice little morning thing we do, sounds cheesy typing it back up but the Beef loves. So when he wakes up first of all he tries to get our attention by making some of the more peculiar noises he makes. He is all “ba ba ba ba” and this weird one he makes when he sort of forces air through his teeth. It is almost like he is trying to say Beef but its more of “EEEEeesstfhhh” is the only way i can describe it. Anyway, i digress.
So, i always sneak up on him and try to watch him before he sees me looking around the corner. He inevitably sees me in the end. I wish i could jar up the feeling i get when i see that first smile of the day. The absolute delight in his face, the look of “oh, your back again”. It literally melts my heart i just wish i could jar it up and every know and then when i get a bit frustrated if he is having a bit of a bad day. There is not a thin on this earth that boy could not be forgiven for with that first smile of the day. When i pick him up i sing to him “Your the king of the castle, im the dirty rascal” and i show him his reflectino in the grill and the bathroom mirror. Honestly, he absolutely loves it.
We went swimming today, the park up we are on is about 30 metres away from a leisure centre with a swimming pool and slides and all that sort of stuff. It was nice to be able to spend a day doing that. I worked it out with Lisa that i had worked 25 days out of 27 or something mad like that so this was my first full weekend off. It was like a Luxembourg Waterworld but nicer, cleaner and better value. After about 40 minutes in the water id had enough and sat by the pool side bar and had a couple of beers and ordered some food whilst those guys splashed about. We also had a walk to the local super market to see if Luxembourg was as expensive as people say it is. I have not seen anything yet which makes me think it is much more expensive than the UK. By the time we got back and i put the Stoke game on but that made me go to sleep and i had a 75 minute snooze on the back bed with the Beef.
Once i woken we had a walk into the village and had some £7 pints, well 2. I felt burgled every time i ordered one. It was a pleasant evening but not £7 a point pleasant.
