Welcome to todays diary entry! After all the joy and excitement of yesterday and seeing the 2025 offering of the manufacturers there was still one more company to see and that was Dometic. They were not at Stoneleigh they were instead at Burston Dallas Polo Club about 15 minutes further down the road. Once again despite having a bit of a late night again last night with Outdoor Revolution me and the Dodge were still the first ones on site and as we arrived and walked around all of the new stuff outside there were no staff outside so we went hunting for them indoors.
Toi be fair i wasn’t feeling 100% and that was made worst by the fact that the Dodge as a passenger is an absolute nightmare, not in a really bad way, just constantly saying “why you doing that”, “your in the bush nearly here”, “you’re in the middle of the road”, “aren’t you a nervy driver”, “why have you got the clutch in”. Just to name a few and over the space of about 13 minutes. Although i would still rather him as a passenger than driver as he is a wild driver and with me feeling slightly temperamental there is no way i could have managed a 20 minute drive with him driving. I’d have had to walk it.

Although once we got there i had a couple of cups of tea and a few packs of biscuits and i felt good again. There was once again so much cool stuff to look at whilst we were here. This was Dometic Kampa, Cadac and Igloo. Having had nothing else than Cadac in my BBQ career to see the stuff for next was so exciting and they have some incredible stuff coming out but not available until February so will have to make do with my current new BBQ until we get back. To be fair i had been looking at how much it costs to ship stuff out to Morocco and it isn’t cheap ha ha.
I have managed to get a day off signed off for tomorrow so when the Dodge heads back tonight i am going to stay here for another night and then go back and film a load of stuff tomorrow and try and film every awning from all the manufacturers and then that means i have loads and loads of content to work through whilst i am in Morocco. I keep telling myself that i will be having a few months off but i will actually still be really busy i want to try and do lots of videos and lots of blogs and things like that for next year and hope that with all that hard work 2025 will be the year of Only Vans!
