Diary Entry – 18th November 2023

What a lovely lovely day. It has been one of those super nice relaxed days where we have spent most of it in and around the pitch. I had done some social media stuff this morning and alongside some stuff for A and E Leisure and i had been planning on doing a video for Cadac about my special 1 pot curry. So i had planned the bones of that. We then got speaking to a couple that follow us and they were coming to Taghazout and were looking for campsites near by. So as you can imagine being an absolute advocate of Atlantica Parc they made the short drive to us here at Tamrhakht.

We then thought we should do maybe cook a big curry so those guys can have some and before you know it had invited all the English people that we knew onsite. The challenge with being that we didn’t have enough chicken for 8 people who were planning on coming so that then involved me making a mad dash to the chicken man and he gutted, filleted and diced 4 chicken breasts for me. I also needed extra ginger and garlic. We were on a tight time frame so i nipped up on my own.

As i always do, a big shout out to my mates Ness and Gee for it wasn’t for them i would be able to make a world class curry from scratch. It was on this campsite where they made it for us for the first time. I’m a bit of a fussy eater so they made me a separate one to everyone else as i don’t like bits in mine. We had such a nice evening and despite all walks of life the one thing that connects us all is our love of travel and travelling to Morocco. There is guy here called Tom who was saying that he has been coming here for 20 odd years so i can only imagine what he has seen change. It was a really pleasant evening with curry and drinks. I am planning on doing plenty of these so hopefully lots of English people to be here to cook for.
