When we were talking the other day about driving around and seeing more sights later in the year as head north back into Europe etc that properly got me motivated and today i have been in my wardrobe and my 1 cupboard and completely gutted. Im not sure at what point when i was packing my clothes i thought id need 14 pairs of socks. Or a ridiculous amount of t-shirts. I was the most ruthless as i have ever been and i got rid of some stuff i thought id never get rid.
It was all under the banner of if i have not used it yet then i don’t need it. All of my clothes now fit into t5 draws and 1 cupboard apart from the few bits i have in garage like a big coat. My only concern will be what i am going to wear back in the UK if it is too cold to wear shorts. Saying that i do have a couple of pairs of jeans in my over head cupboard so should be ok. I just hope that May, June and July are nice as we think we will head back into Europe in early to mid August

I have done clothes to day so tomorrow will be getting everything out of the garage and getting that into the bin as well. In the new year i am going to put up a sign and try and sell my drive away awning i think and then put that money towards a safari room as we have found that we don’t use the drive away awning as much as we thought we would. So the weight and space that uses is will be sacrificed/ saved ready for future travels. We have a really nice Thule one on this campsite and i think i want something like that to be honest. The long panel is only half a panel which means you still have some rain proof space but still letting plenty of fresh air in.
