Welcome to todays diary entry! Wow after Beefs melt down yesterday from not having enough sleep in the day he actually didn’t wake us up until 08:38 this morning so he has had over 12 hours sleep so hopefully means he will be on top top top form today he still initially woke up and upon changing his nappy he is till making that blood curdling screech that he has started making so that is another new noise he has started making since he started making that gurning noise in Newquay. The great thing about any behavioral trait in a child though it is all a phase and nothing ever seems to last particularly very long.
He is definitely tip toeing towards the terrible twos. I actually don’t think that is fair. He is not tip toeing there at all he is bowling towards it with flares in each hand and kicking the door down of the terrible twos. He is a little diva who is pretty determined to get his own way. I think he gets that from his Mum (joking joking joking, calm down). But he is till a very good boy 99% of the time but he is definitely becoming increasingly noisy and vocal. Had a quiet day today spent the morning watching a bit of tv with the Beef and then doing some things on the laptop. I am excruciatingly busy at the moment and there is just not enough hours in the day to try and get round to doing it all but now we are officially on the 70 day countdown till we leave. Well we may have to pop that back by a week and go the week after.
My Mum had another check up the other day and her breathing isn’t brilliant and i think she is struggling a little bit at the moment so will spend a few days with her before we go. She also absolutely buzzes of Halloween so we are going to take her trick or treating with my sister, Brother in law and my nephews. I have also said to her that i am going to get a fancy dress costume for her mobility scooter which she has. But a shout out to the Motor Neurone Disease Association who are sorting out a stair lift for her which is free for 6 months and then £50 a month after which will be really useful for her to get about in. To be fair they have been very good as have the Dougie Mac in Blurton. She often goes there for physio and a massage. Everyone really has been very good, apart from the council.

We got to enjoy some adult time today as one of the lads form work had been away for the weekend and him and his Mrs have just done up a van and we were staying near by so they asked us if we wanted to go to the pub just a little further up the road so we obliged. It was nice and Lisa (Gazs Mrs) is so good with kids so when Damian woke from his nap and had a meltdown she whisked him off and it was nice ot have some wind down time with someone to watch over him for a while.
We ended up staying in the pub all evening and got back about 10ish, the weekends just seem to go so fast well especially working 6 days a week because it is only really Sunday that i have off. Although i am just doing everything i can to build up the winter pot of money to be able to have 2 months off work. Ideally i want to have 3 months worth of money saved up but we will have to see how it goes.
