Did you know you can follow us on our journey on YouTube!!

Welcome to todays diary entry! For a caravan and motorhome enthusiast today has been absolutely brilliant, i have thoroughly enjoyed it. It has honestly been brilliant. To see what 2025 has in store has been really exciting and there is nothing more exciting than a sneak preview!! So after waking up quite early this morning and looking outside it was really misty and that is one of the reasons that i love Autumn i just love the mornings. I don’t love the cold but i do love the mornings.

Misty Tuesday Morning

We were only 5 minutes drive from Stoneleigh where the trade show was being held so we were probably the first ones there so we parked up and walked through the Outdoor Revolution stand although they were doing some training so we kept on walking through the stand to make our way over to one of our favorite people at one of the manufacturers. It was Stephen at Camptech. He is a top top guy and has always been so helpful over everything and he took us around the new stuff and the first thing that caught my eye was the new roof tent they are doing. These are certainly becoming an increasingly popular thing although dominated mainly by Tent Box.

Around 11 o’clock the sun came out and it was absolutely glorious and it was so so hot it was literally shorts, t-shirt and sun glasses weather. It was roasting and the manufacturers that were there could not have picked a better week for the show. They really did. The show is actually split across a couple of sites and we have Outdoor Revolution, Telta, Camptech, Brunner and Dorema so there was plenty to get out and see. I could have walked around all day and just walked in and out of every single awning. I am such a geek.

Which i did to be fair but then i made the mistake of having a bottle of beer around 3pm because i was out doing something i thoroughly enjoyed with my pal so it just felt like the right thing to do. We spent the afternoon looking through the Outdoor Revolution range and then sat with them and had a couple of beers in the afternoon sun. We ended up going out for food with them in the end and went to an incredible restaurant called Cote. The only problem with nice restaurants is the portion size is not very big. So we had a great night eating steak and drinking red wine. Just mainly talking about the industry and nothing is better than eating a nice meal then making your way back to Wetherspoons for a night cap. I was going to try and stay out later but the Dodge insisted i came back at 11pm. I am glad that happened in the end as i think they were out until nearly 3am.
