I am a total Air Fryer convert. In my opinion the Air Fryer is the great equaliser and can make even the most average of chefs look relatively skilled. I, openly put myself in that category to be honest as i can cook about 3 things and don’t get me wrong i can cook those 3 things well but in terms of a wide range of things I’m very basic. That is the beauty of the air fryer it almost removes any required skill from cooking. There is no way i could cook a leg of lamb in an oven. Whereas in an air fryer i did it easily.
The thing is that it is not just trickier things that it can cook it is even stuff like pizza that we use loads of. I think if we ever moved back into a house i don’t think i would use my oven, i literally think it would be just in the air fryer. Especially in a motorhome or a caravan where i have found the ovens to be really slow to get up to speed and also to cook at a normal pace. Where as an air fryer is just something else.

I was never very sure before and wasn’t sure whether they were a gimmick but i am now 100% an Air fryer convert. We also have not even scratched the surface yet of what can be done on one. I believe you can cook cakes, pies, puddings in them. I am always a little underwhelmed by the puddings selection over here as well. They do look very nice but always seem to have a layer of like jelly over them, but not a soft jelly either. Always makes me feel a little peculiar.
