Welcome to todays diary entry! Still got a bit of a poorly boy and he just doesn’t seem quite 100% so we have gone form actually starting to enjoy him not having a sleep in the day to him having a sleep in the day again and not going to bed until 22:00. It is funny how something you thought you didn’t want, you actually enjoy it and then it goes back to how it was before when you thought you didn’t want it but no actually you want it. I guess that is the joy of parenting but i imagine when we get on the road and start travelling and we are outside a lot more and more active he would be back in the sleeping routine anyway.
To be fair this summer, and obviously because of the weather i use the word summer liberally, but it has been such a long summer and what i have realised is that i am really looking forward to spending some proper proper time with the Beef. I suppose that is the beauty of being able to do this time in the winter and getting away and then having a bit of time off and just resting up. I am coming to terms with the fact that i am probably going to have to find some work in the new year as the pot of money i wanted to depart with isn’t going to be there and it will need some topping up.

Well, hoping that awning sales will see me through but i think that come January i will probably need work. Unless we win the lottery obviously. I am a bit disappointed with that as i really did like the thought of spending a number of months relaxing in the sun and having some quality family time and creating content as much as i could. But if i have 2 months off work and have to start something in January then that is just what i have to do. But that is life. Really thinking about it out loud, i am probably going to have to start advertising my services at the end of November really to look for something to start in January.
That will though, in theory give me nearly 2 months off work in the winter sun and exploring our way down through Morocco, that will be one month as we make our way down to Agadir and then December will be spent in my little corner of heaven on the Atlantic coast. I am so looking forward to it. I am looking forward to this convoy but there is a part of me that is a little bit disappointed that we are not just flying down as quick as we could. But the opportunity to be able to help lots of people who may previously been too anxious to travel to Morocco in a leisure vehicle it will be good to help them get over that initial set back.
