Welcome to todays diary entry! We decided to head home early today, not because of any specific reason but Gemma had gone home early because my youngest nephew said he was coming down with a tummy bug. Although i think for my Mum she was also ready to come home as well she has really missed her dog. My Mum and her dog and her are thick as thieves she absolutely adores him and with her illness she just hopes that she can out live him so he can be waiting for her. We always had dogs growing up so we know how much they mean to my Mum. At one point we had 5 which as i’m sure you can appreciate was full on.
There wasn’t any plans to come home today but it was just a set of circumstances that made me ask the question to Lisa. We were supposed to be going out for tea and that. The day started off by me going down to the fishing lakes with my brother in law. Well, we said we would meet down there at 9am but i walked down about 9:10 with our washing. Holiday hack Incoming!! We have started doing our washing on the day before we come home from holidays so we don’t have the dreaded sky high pile of washing to do in the following days of our return.

We had 3 big bags to do so i dropped them in the launderette with Mum and made my way down the the fishing lake, only to have to walk back up because he wasn’t there yet. So i made my way back up to the launderette and played peekaboo for a few minutes until i clocked my brother in law walking past. I was going to fish myself but i don.t have any of my proper stuff with me so i decided to just be an observer instead this time. I have only fished in the sea at Morocco over the last 18 months so i didn’t want to risk causing any damage to Dave’s stuff.
After 90 minutes i walked back up to Lisa to get the washing carried back into the Motorhome and went for a cup of coffee/ hot chocolate as my Mum was in there with my sister. Me and Lisa walked back over to the caravan to let the Beef loose as he had woken early from his nap. I lay on the sofa and end up nodding off myself and it was only when i woke up my Mum had told they had set off because Bobs had a bad tummy. To be fair he had eaten loads of shite but in a motorhome you cannot take your chances with an ill youngster. I sat there for 5 minutes and deliberated an then asked the question about whether we should get off, it just meant we would have a full day of relaxing tomorrow before work starts again on the Monday. We made superb time on the way back and i think the wheels only stopped turning once on the way back and we did it in a little over 4 hours which in a motorhome is not far from being peak time to get there or back
