Welcome to todays diary entry! We worked out on Monday that in 11 weeks we will be back in the UK and back in Northwich for a about 15 minutes that terrified me. What on earth are we going to do back in the UK in the UK weather and not being close to the beach. I think it will be a huge culture shock for us and will certainly take some adjusting to but as we always do we will adapt and change and get on with it. The month in Spain should hopefully help us adjust and come to terms with it. I am not sure if i am ready to go back yet or not.
Yesterday was a bit of a funny day for me personally and emotionally. I just felt a bit flat i couldn’t quite put my finger on why but i think it was in part the whole NEC thing which is a big get together for everyone in our industry and then to not be there this year and have a big role in the last one in October. I always talk about myself being a wing man to people and not being there on a stall helping out the shop gave me a bit of FOMO and made me a bit homesick. There is sometimes nothing better than being in the trenches with your pals, especially in tense and stressful situations like the NEC and selling that binds you all together. I felt like I’d let them down by not being there. And that hurt.

I was obviously playing my part online with social media and on the live chat but it wasn’t really the same. I’d said after the last one in October that I wouldn’t do another one but i think I’d do October again if they would have me, or if someone would have me. Today’s is the first day of our mini heat wave and it was outrageously warm, i always try and get the sun canopy out early doors if i can because the sun rises on the habitation door side so by getting the sun canopy out it stops the sun from beating down on it from the off and turning it into a microwave.
As it was pancake day today we decided that for tea we walk to the restaurant at the front to try and get a little bit of tea and something sweet as a pudding we had a big dinner so neither of us felt particularly hungry. I had a couple of milkshakes and they are nice from there. They are quite thick whereas sometimes you can buy milkshakes and they are almost lukewarm and just like milk. From there they are thick more like ice cream than milk. We also shared a pizza and chips between the 3 of us. Although i think the Beef ate most of it. I have never seen anyone eat like him!
