Welcome to todays diary entry! Today was another scorcher! But a couple of things happened which to be fair we quite lucky but i will go through those later in the day. I was in bed last night at 20:30 i was just absolutely shattered and just couldn’t muster up the energy for a party and everyone was in before 21:00. I am not sure whether it was because we were tired from yesterday or because of the sun draining out energy but we were simply shattered. So i woke up this morning feeling very very fresh especially buoyed by the fact that we had had a pretty good day yesterday and hopefully with the same/ similar again today then it will have been worth it.
We had one eye on the weather as there is was supposedly a storm coming in. The beauty of this show though was that the stuff was mostly Outdoor Revs so if it does start raining we are not the ones who have to get it all out at HQ and dry it all off for the next few days so i was a little calmer about it. It is just a personal thing for us and having a lot of wet clothes in the Moho and limited space to dry them. We have been so lucky with the weather and to have had no rain at all over the last few days given what it has been like over the last few weeks since we got back into the UK.

It certainly felt more humid today and more sticky so once again i spent most of the day sweating. We got a visit from our Morocco pals Mal and Alan and they have told us they are definitely going to Morocco this year again so it will be nice to see them over there again. It was nice to sit back and trade some stories about being over there it seems like a lifetime ago that we were in Camping Atlantica and Agadir. I had a message from our favourite taxi driver seeing how we all were and i thought that was lovely! You dont get that over here! I am just sooo looking forward to getting back out there. It is looking like end of October again as we will probably go to the NEC in October as that is our favourtie considerably bigger than February.
The footfall was good again today and we had another good day so it was a success. Considering we didnt have a following out here and we inheritied the show from another retailer i think we have done well and considering the outlay from ourselves has been small as we have helped staff it with Outdoor Revolution. They have put a lot of effort into it and to get it ready to go and be a success so a big thank you to them. We will be back now in July.
