Welcome to todays diary entry! I must have not moved and inch last night when I was asleep, do you know those times when you literally fall asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow and then boom it was morning time. To be fair I was absolutely shattered and i couldn’t wait to get to sleep. Whether it was because of having a couple of nights having a bit of a drink or whether it was the 10k walk yesterday but i felt like i could have slept for another few hours at least but one of the things with a 17 month old baby is that they choose when you sleep.
After the rain on Friday we are heading towards a little bit of a heat wave in the coming week with temperatures getting up towards the dizzy heights of 30 degrees and it is not secret that we do not like it being too hot. So the next week will be spent in the safety of the inside or under the sun canopy. The rain here on Friday was interesting for us because it is the first time really that we can think that the motorhome has ever been in those conditions and conditions which are commonplace in the UK with large heavy bursts of rain and we can officially report that our motorhome has leaks. Now, without sound pessimistic i think it has something to do with getting it washed on the campsite last month as before that we had never had any issues in any capacity.

Since we had it washed we now have leaky seals, our fridge was playing up whilst we were in Taroudannt whilst it was on gas and our reversing camera stopped working. Two of this we have since got fixed but it has cost £80 to do which in hindsight isn’t a lot but id rather have the £80 myself. Saying that it brought a lot more of my paint off but that was always going to cost 2000dhm to fix anyway so whether it had a bit of paint or no paint didn’t matter. I think it is because they get over zealous with the jet wash and blast the seal out of the windows etc so fortunately Darren is going to come and help me to do that and i will pay his in lager. I have had my bonnet back and boy does it look good though.
We at OVHQ have a busy week coming up as it is the NEC show which is always a busy time for anyone who is in the industry. Especially if it involves selling stuff so my mind will be focussed on diary entries, blogging, vlogging and selling awnings online. So i have an excuse now to not sit in the baking sun so i can spend about 10 hours a day on the laptop. All of that with a full time job in the middle and a 17 month old. It is going to be a busy week,
