Welcome to todays diary entry! This time in 3 weeks we will be on our way north making our way back home. This time in 4 weeks we will be back and to be honest this time i am not going to be sad to leave. That will be the first time that i will have ever said that in all the time that we have been here and been on the road. It has nothing to do with Stokes semi upturn in form either. I will look back on this time here with some fond memories and some extremely poor memories. Today started as most normal days here do i always walk down and do my bread run but one thing i wanted to do was to get the back garden sorted ready for 4pm so i could put the Stoke game on.

Me and Kel have really enjoyed getting the TV (PC monitor actually) on a table in the back garden then connecting it up our speaker and it just means you can sit in the sun and watch what the game. It almost, almost feels like a beer garden but you have pre paid for the beer. For some reason the internet was playing daft so we couldn’t watch the bits of extra time which was extremely annoying but the internet kicked back in briefly so i managed to catch the goal that Stoke live and then it stopped just after the goal had gone in. It was a sign from the gods. We invited some people from a little bit further down the road to ours in the afternoon for a celebratory beverage to celebrate Stoke winning, although to be fair none of them knew that Stoke had play or Stoke had won.

We had 2 couples round and obviously we had the Fegan’s round as well and we spent the evening in the garden just chatting about everything Morocco and all of our experiences here. We have known these guys from our time here last year and it is nice that similar people along with some newbies come as you end up getting to know them and social media keeps you together when you are not here. It was a good job we had bought some beers yesterday as they came round about 7pm and then i think we will still in the garden by 11pm just having a good old fashioned knees up.
In better news looks as though our work on the website is paying off we have had more organic search engine traffic so far in January 2025 than we did in the whole of 2024 which is really positive. Writing content is always such a gamble because you have to write it first do it as good as you can then hope that it gets searched for, then it ranks and someone then opts to choose your article and over the last 6 months i have tried to do as much writing stuff as i possible can and to lead all traffic back to our website as that is the hub from which we will try to drive extra pennies that we can from the website.
