Diary Entry – 10th October 2024

Did you know you can follow us on our journey on YouTube!!

Welcome to todays diary entry! I find myself filling vast portions of my free time at the moment scouring through pictures of our trips and i literally scrolled through every single picture that is on my phone from the end of October until end of March and it is was actually quite an emotional experience going through them and it just brings back so many happy memories and you remember things that you had forgotten and it just all comes flooding back. We have done so much over these few years that it is important to sometimes sit back and remember them.

I suppose that is one of the good things about YouTube and you have a vast library of memories and it is all there for us to watch in the future. The funniest thing is when Rory sees himself on the TV and he would watch himself for an hour or so if he could. That got me thinking though, does he know it is him or does he think it is another baby? He spends ages watching himself in the mirrors that we have in the motorhome as well and i always wonder whether he knows it is his reflection.

I cannot believe how cold it has been this morning, i mean full on near ice on the car park full steam coming out as you talk. The warehouse lads are wearing full coats and scarfs now so they are fully prepared. I think i woke with the cod this morning. We have a little electric heating on all night now and then in the morning we have a quick blast of the diesel heater. The electric heater is good over time but the diesel heater is a rapid heater upperer. On a side note we are having a bit of better week in the shop now as well.

I think this has been one of the better weeks we have had since the start of September and it is weird because i was expecting it to be busy i thought people would be waiting for the NEC but it appears as thought it has perhaps got people into a buying mode and then not waiting until the NEC and purchasing before the show itself. I am a bit gutted i am not at the NEC selling again although i didn’t particularly enjoy the last time i did it i think that i would be more prepared for it this time and definitely better prepared for mentally. It is a pain when you are there but in hindsight the buzz when you are there is great.
