Welcome to todays diary entry! IM not one to exaggerate or get carried away but England are definitely winning the Euros!! I have never been more certain of anything. There are 2 reasons i think we are going to win it. Firstly because i don’t think Spain have played particularly great throughout the tournament and i also think with everything that is going on with my Mum that it is in the script for us to win it so i am eternally optimistic. To be fair it has taken me a little bit of time to get into this tournament as i have struggled to get behind it so far.
I think that is partly because we are working so hard at the moment that we don’t really have time to settle down into anything and have an hour or so relaxing and watching it. By the time i sit down at the moment for anything more than 30 minutes i am getting drowsy and trying to not fall asleep. Lisa has been so supportive as she always is to keep me going and always being there to cook and stuff and giving a bit of moral support when i am finding it really difficult, she is my absolute rock and i couldn’t do 90% of the things i do if it want for her.

We had made a point after we beat Switzerland to get out and to watch the match tonight. We called it a little date night but with the exception of having a 21 month old and Nathan from the body shop at work. But we got ourself dressed up a bit and clean and made our way to the new housing estate where there was a little pop up pub which we came to a few weeks back when i had got my hair cut and we really liked it so it only seemed right to make our way back here but they also did a thing where it is cheap pints until there is a goal so hoping for a no score draw.
To be fair it was worse possible start as England were 1 nil down within about 13 minutes so the cheap pints finished early. The game though overall was an absolute belter as Olly Watkins scored in the last minute to put us through to the final. It was strange because Lisa had been calling herself Lisa Van Der Skelton all week but literally in the space of that goal she turned all Spanish. Something tells me she may want England to lose. I am joking she has been extremely supportive again of England and you can see that she wants us to do well.
