Welcome to todays diary entry! The scary thing now is looking at the reverse countdown that we normally always look so forward but now it is on the ascendency and this time in 4 weeks we will be either in or very close to Santander getting that bloody big boat home, well back to the UK. The Plymouth ones don’t start until April time so we are getting it to Portsmouth. There are 2 different versions of the ferry to Portsmouth, one that takes about 38 hours and one that takes much less and last around 28 hours so as you can imagine the whole return has been planned to make sure that the ferry we get will be the faster one. Any less time that can be spent on that boat is what we will always aim to do.

I am aiming to get back in a week and be back in Northwich area about the 7th February so please all pray for me for some nice weather. The plan is to get straight back into the shop and prepare as much as we can for the new season but we will only be back for about 1 week before we go to Birmingham for 10 days as we will be working the NEC and doing what i can to sell plenty of awnings for A and E Leisure. I am eager to get back to be fair and i have already booked my motorhome in for some work to be done and get a few bits tinkered with as using it how we do mean that general wear and tear is the enemy but we use every part of our motorhome almost daily.

We do the dishes in the motorhome, we shower in the motorhome we literally use every part of it. That what it is there for we use it as our home and we use it as we would use a house in Stoke On Trent. The list as it stands is a new roof light, i want Remis cab blinds in the front and sides, and i also want a 12v socket fitted in the garage as well. Our science behind the 12v socket is it means that we can put the compressor fridge we have in the garage and then we can batch cook food and put it in there to try and save the space in the fridge and hopefully try and lose some weight which for another winter i appear to have done so.
Our roof light has been right and we did toy with the idea of getting it done before we cam away but we decided to just seal it up and get the winter over and done with where it doesn’t rain and then get it done in the spring. We were worried about doing so close to going away and the not being able to source the part in time for the ferry from Plymouth last October. We have always wanted cab blinds and its just convenient as we have a curtain at the moment but with his Cabbunk it is a pain to do the curtains.
