Welcome to todays diary entry! Firstly i wish i hadn’t spent so much time in the pub last night i was still feeling really tired and in hindsight i should have probably gone to the pub tonight rather than spending my time there last night because instead of the just feeling tired i now i had a bit of a hangover as well and just felt all round not great. The saving grace is that of the 4 of us who were out last night 3 of us were in work today so that made it a little bit easier as everytime you looked around you could see that everyone was in a similar position to me.

The main thing on my mind was getting something to eat from the greasy spoon Cafe and although it is probably the worst cafe in the world it was still nice and because it was the first time there was a lot of nostalgia with it. I ordered 3 sandwich’s but i only ate one straight away as it turned my stomach so they got saved until later on in the day. There was 2 spaces left open for awnings so the first thing i wanted to do was to fill those gaps and we managed to get 2 Sunncamp awnings up, one being a Verao which is a low height static awning for a camper van and a Swift 260sc. Although the plan is after the NEC week we will be turning the show room around ready for the new spring summer season and get some drive away awnings up.

I managed to survive the day and after 5pm we were about to go and see my Mum for the first time in about 4 months so we were really looking forward to that. For the Beef more than anything, well and me obviously. As we set off from Northwich we ordered our first chippy tea and by the time we had arrived in Newcastle Under Lyme it had arrived. It was so wonderful to see my Mum. This was one of the main reasons we came back early so to finally be here sitting with her was brilliant if not a bit emotional.
Every time i try and comprehend what it is she is going through i just cannot imagine how she must feels, but she gets up everyday no matter how hard it is and ploughs on with a smile on her face. Most of the time, it isn’t possible mentally to keep smiling all the time. Just the sheer pure bravery to keep on going when everything is as much work as it is, is just unbelievable. I have no qualms saying to anyone that my Mum is the bravest person i have ever known and to keep positive is just incredible.
