Welcome to todays diary entry! We got the OG band back together. Due to the time we arrived yesterday we didn’t manage to make it into Gibraltar and because HMS Brookes and Rear Admiral Fegan were arriving today we thought we would wait for them before making our way into Gib. Although having had a great night sleep under our belt i woke up feeling better than i have done for ages feeling really positive and upbeat as hopefully tomorrow the door handle situation will be sorted. Although my stress levels around the door handle have been somewhat reduced by the discovery of a piece of bungee cord that fits it absolutely perfectly.
I felt like i managed to get loads of stuff done today before those guys turned and i think a lot of the pressure comes from myself and the need to always feel like i am ding something. I do have a very very active mind and sometimes if it is not being used as much i don’t like it. So i have been trying to get as much blogging done as i can and some vlogging done as i can to try and keep myself busy. Also we tend to be more appealing to people and interesting to people during the winter as that is when we are away and most people are bored at home!

Amanda and Kel had never been to Gibraltar before and i always enjoy the pomp and ceremony of it all walking over the runway and it is always much better when it is your first time. I always like to take the mick a bit out of Lisa as she always comments on the fact that red phone boxes are made where she is from in Kirkintilloch but she was laughing on the other side of her face when she realized that actually Kel was a raging phone box geek and nearly bought one for himself.
We had been in Gibraltar for about 1 hour before we had made it very far as Amanda wanted to buy as much diluting juice as she could get her hands and in the end pretty much cleared out the Gibraltar Co-Op but we managed ot pull her away and made our way to O’Reillys at Ocean village for some drinks before the Brookes turned up. We ended up having a nice few hours in there before us and Brookes headed off back the park up whilst the Fegan’s wanted to go and have one final meal away in Gib. The best thing was that already there was a number of people that had made it to the Marina for the Convoy! It could end up getting out of hand!
