Welcome to todays diary entry! Well, Jesus, what a first day to be in the desert my god it has been soooo windy today probably as windy as i have ever known it to be over here. I suppose that if there is anywhere where id want to be sit in my motorhome looking out it would probably be here. It ties back into that thought i have been having of late which is what on earth are we doing, as in us 3 from Scotland and Stoke just sitting outside in the Sahara desert just chilling. I find it quite amusing.
As we had only stayed for one night at each of the park ups to get us here one of the first things on the to do list was to get some washing done. Our clean clothes situation was below critical levels. So we took them to the guy at reception and gave them over to him and whilst we were there we thought we would order some food for a little bit later on as we had not had chance to make any dinner. The plan was to try and go for a bit of a walk but as soon as we stepped foot out of the front door there was a massive gust of wind so we swerved it and headed back to the Moho to wait for the food to be ready at 1:30pm

For dinner i ordered a Tagine and Mum has grilled 1/2 chicken and chips and we also get chicken skewers for the Beef. Once we had left Mum had reminded me that i hadn’t told the guy no egg in my Tagine and then when we went back I forgot to tell him again so when it turned up it had what must of been the biggest egg in the world smack bang in the middle of the tagine so fortunately Mum agreed to switch with me. So i had the grilled chicken and chips and tons and tons of bread so had 3 or 4 chicken and chips sandwich’s.
The chicken was deceiving to be honest as i thought it looked really dry but it just must have been the way it was cooked because once you got under the skin it was really nice. One thing that never ceases to amaze me is just how different tagines can be in different parts of the country they are almost a little bit like dialects and no 2 tagines are ever the same. One thing is for sure though we very very rarely have bad food
